SUMMARY
A number of residents in Seaton Village community expressed concern that the City had not provided adequate opportunities for consultation regarding the recently announced RapidTO Bathurst plan. There was also a vocal public outcry by a number of businesses in the area. In response, our City Councillor, Dianne Saxe, recommended some alterations to the original plan that she submitted at the SVRA AGM on June 10.

The City has since substantially revised its original proposal, removing the plan for dedicated bus lanes north of Bathurst subway station, and City Council will be discussing it July 23, 24, 25. See also City Initiatives.
