U of T School of Cities
The University of Toronto’s School of Cities regularly hosts, co-hosts and sponsors events on all aspects of urban living, research and expertise. Their free events are in-person, hybrid or online, and bring together faculty, students, practitioners, policymakers and members of the public from across the University, the city and the world to discuss issues that matter to urban centres. The sessions provide sharing opportunities for learning about municipal issues, community building, housing and the like.
Topics for September 2025 include Housing & Mobility; policy trends and research on low-emission urban transportation systems in India, and a lecture examining Toronto’s efforts to create new forms of public and shared space through curatorial strategies.
