SVRA Treasurer Jane Wigle reminds current members to please renew your SVRA membership before the end of May. This is also the opportune time to join the Seaton Village Residents' Association, whose fiscal year is May 1, 2026 - April 30, 2027. Membership is only $10, and among other benefits, paid-up members will be able to vote at the upcoming Annual General Meeting.

Renewing is Worth It

Seaton Village is your home, and your voice matters. As a member, you’ll have a say in how we grow, what we protect, and where we focus our efforts. You’ll also be among the first to hear about local updates, events, and opportunities to contribute your ideas and energy.  In addition, only members can vote on motions raised throughout the year, and at our Annual General Meeting.

 

Membership Fees Go a Long Way

While volunteers are the heart and soul of the SVRA, we have to pay rental fees for local meeting rooms are 10-12 times a year.  We pay for supplies for SVRA events such as candles for the annual Pumpkin Walk and napkins for last year's ice cream event. We shared in the cost of renting the Al Green Theatre for the All-Candidates Meeting for the recent federal byelection.  We also pay the least amount possible for a web-hosting service,  and a nominal amount for flyers to communicate upcoming events.
