Interim Changes & Further Studies

Dedicated Transit Lanes

November 15, 2025

Posted by SVRA Susan

These interim measures are expected to be completed by the end of 2025; FIFA is in June 2026. Further updates may be made at City Council's November meeting. Check the City website; we will also update you here.

Paul Macchiusi (Minerva Cannabis) has commented recently that "As the businesses south of Dupont embark on a possible BIA, they hope the City conducts audits of the parking bans being introduced as this 750m stretch of Bathurst will be home to Toronto’s largest daytime parking bans in history. As the City implements 2-7pm weekday and 12-7pm weekend bans, the weekend bans in particular have left many business owners in disarray as the busiest trade days of the week will be impacted in the largest way".
